Sugarray--a lot of overlapping with mine as well. I see you're not in any groups--the old Groucho Marx quip comes to mind--I wouldn't belong to any group that would have me as a member--but there is a small inactive (8 members) Oulipo group here. Louis Ferdinand Celine and Raymond Queneau are two of my favorite writers. Speaking of Celine if you ever run into anything by Louis Paul Boon you should check him out. Vargas Llosa's Conversation in the Cathedral--excellent--and West's Von Stauffenberg. Some other recommendation might be Roberto Bolano--particularly The Savage Detectives--Halldor Laxness--Independent people and if you like noir sometimes Jean-Patrick Manchette's (who I believe was connected to the Situationists) 3 to Kill. Anyway feel free to make recommendations of your own.
Our overlapping books are all some of my favorites. An Oulipo fan?
