About meMid 40's chap working from home doing IT stuff, that's one side of my office in the pic. My bookcases are 21' by 9'6" and I am still running out of room, to the despair of the family.

Apart from books my other big interests are music, particularly Americana, my garden, beer and rugby.

About my libraryEclectic mix with particular interests in modern fiction (particularly irish literature) and history. It is only going through the site's cataloguing process that I have come to accept that I have read as much rubbish as good stuff over the past 20 odd years, the period when I have had the time/money and space to accumulate books.

So with the time (hopefully) left to me on this earth, say 30 odd years or only another 900 books I aim to cut down on the crap and concentrate on books that will enlighten/entertain and make a difference.Your help and comments are always welcome.
