About meMost simply, I am an armchair traveler, having left a corporate job with real travel far behind. I prefer older books, particularly those written between the 30's and the 50's. My focuses include travelogues, naturalists, Americana, and the arcane. I don't care for newer books, because they feel fraudulent somehow. Not sure how to explain it. I have almost no fiction, except for sentimental tomes from childhood.
