About meI'd been meaning to start cataloging my books ever since I learned about sites like this last year in my social software class. What finally made me get up and start is an impending move. Most of my books will have to be stored until I can afford to ship them across the country, so this is a great way for me to keep track of them. I can even tag which book goes in which box for easier retrieval later on. It breaks my heart to have to leave them all behind, though. Not to mention sort out which ones I can bear to give away to save on storage space.

About my libraryMy library started as a small collection of well-loved fantasy novels I hoarded growing up. Then I started working book retail and have amassed a ridiculous amount of books I've never had time to read. In the beginning, I spent hundreds of dollars at work thinking I wouldn't be there very long. Spending for a rainy day, so to speak. But after 12 years, I think I can safely say the day I will no longer work in a bookstore is not going to come anytime soon. That realization and some tough moves are what convinced me to finally shed my stripped book collection. But the ones I've paid for are still with me. At this point I pretty much work for books (because I'm only there part time). It's rare I have any paycheck left over after feeding my manga addiction. I'm actually a little embarrassed I have so many of them at this point.

Noticed you liked Clockwork Orange, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a group of violent kids (and also a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:

Hi, I've just uploaded a cover for "The University City of Oxford" by Pitkin Guides (ISBN 0853724857). Thought you'd like to know since there are only a few of us who share it.
