About meI am a law librarian, married with three children. I enjoy reading history, biography, science fiction and some mystery novels. I enjoy reading history of the ancient world, particularly Greece and Rome, biography from all periods, and the science fiction of Isaac Asimov, Harlan Ellison, Robert Scheckley, and Roger Zelazny to name but a few. I am partial the mystery novels of Lindsey Davis, Stephen Saylor and Ellis Peters. I am also deeply interested in history of the Eastern Roman or Byzantine Empire and the history of South Africa, espescially that of the indigenous inhabitants, the Bantu, Khokhoi and the Bushmen.
