My name is Dawn and I am a librarian and the host of Toronto Public Library’s online book club: Book Buzz and a fellow LibraryThing member.
This month we are reading Shadow Divers, by Robert Kurson. I noticed that you include Shadow Divers in your library and give it a 5-star review. I’d just like to invite you to visit us and share your thoughts about Kurson’s book. It’s a friendly easy-going book club with over 600 members and we are always looking for new points of view.
If you are interested, visit us at http://bookbuzz.torontopubliclibrary.ca .
Thank-you for your time,
Dawn

I have been trying to put Perec's photograph in the author's gallery, but it didn't work. Then I saw one on the Oulipo's virtual headquarter's page. I'm sure that, being much more computer literate than I am (you 're 20 years younger...), you could manage to duplicate the picture on Perec's page. Perec is by all means my favourite author (although I've never even tried to play Go) and "incontournable" as we say in French, everybody should be able to see what he looked like! I also noticed you're a fan of Donna Leon. I've read all her books except the last one which is to come out this month in paperback cover (Through a glass darkly). Can't wait! I guess that though I have a huge crush on Brunetti (the ideal man for any woman), the character I prefer in her books is of course Venice.
Let me know if and how you're doing with Perec
