About meI am a 64-year-old retired person who is still an adult educator and writer. I live in Pretoria, South Africa, with my wife and 5-year-old daughter. My younger daughter's name is Caitlin after the wife of Dylan Thomas. I am an avid reader and also love listening to music of most kinds but in particular jazz and classical.
About my libraryI have been collecting and reading books for years and also inherited a lot from my late father. Had to get rid of more than half of my books when we moved into a small townhouse in Pretoria.

I love your collection of South African books especially the ones that include Jazz. I wanted to tell you about a new book I'm reading on the subject. Its called 'In Township Tonight: Three centuries of South African Black City music and Theatre' by David B. Coplan, (my prof in Jozi). I think you will enjoy it, just released.
Cheers

Thanks for stopping by my profile. It's always flattering when someone finds my library interesting. I add all my books, even the embarassing ones. ;=)I love the social aspect of LT and it's always good to see fellow South Africans becoming more active on the site.
Have a good weekend.
