About me I'm a personist.

About my library As a college student, I am regrettably separated from the vast majority of my books and am plagued by pesky things like midterms, term papers, and finals. Therefore, I have cleverly separated my books into two tagged categories: "at school" and "at home." I have pretty much all of my "at school" books catalogued right now (which I suppose will tell you something about which books I thought indispensable) and I will hopefully catalogue all my books by the end of August. I think the rest of the tags are pretty self-explanatory, and I will in no way apologize for the eclectic nature of my collection: 'tis an organic thing.

Hi,

I just read your review of The Winter Prince and I wanted to tell you what a wonderful time I had reading it. I felt you really enjoyed writing it. It contained some powerful insights , but never gave away the essence or the ending for that matter. Thanks
You never go on IM anymore! (you should :3 )
Sure ^_^ That would be 7:15 I guess :3
Ooh, I totally wanna see it! >w
Omigosh omigosh! I just added Deathly Hallows to my LibraryThing >w< !!!!!!!!!!
Have you been adding more books recently?
What's a CueCat?
Well, like the stalker I am, I was going through your books and it showed that you had duplicates of just about all your Furuba, but now they're gone (weird LibraryThing) so what I said doesn't really apply...
Do you really have that many duplicates of Fruits Basket?
How many books do you have left to go? :o
If you use PowerEdit to remove & add tags to a bunch of books, it's really simple & fast
But there are very specific equivalents of hiragana to English letters!
You should tag it 'shoujo' and not 'shojo' Laura!

Anyway, how has your scanner been working?
Greetings, niece! Just now noticed your comment....yep, I'm here, even if sporadically. I'm adding things as I go along rather than trying to catch up and catalog the whole shooting match (shudder).

Love,
your aunt
Have you been adding books lately?
I just looked up that book you were reading...it cracked me up xD It's sooooo sounds like something you'd read :3
Ooh, Laura! I've read 5 books in the past week. I'm so proud of myself xD

The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde (geeze...I didn't realize that it was going to be disturbing! but it's one of those books that I feel like I should've read, ya know?)

Wives & Daughters by Elizabeth Gaskell (we talked about this one already xD )

My Cousin Rachel by Daphne du Maurier (this was disturbing too T_T Even moreso than Rebecca!)

Beauty by Rachel Mckinley (the only book that I had previously read!)

The Minister's Daughter by Julie Hearn (I've seen this in the YA section of Borders for a long time and I checked it out of the library. It wasn't really that good :/ )
I like the art of the Renaissance. The music, sculpture, paintings, literature, architecture etc. I think that Medieval art is horrid :p

And I'm not denying the importance or whatever of Medieval times or anything...I just don't find it interesting.
Oh, and I've got something helpful to tell you! I'm guessing if that you're only using Amazon to add manga, they don't have everything listed, huh? If you go to this site:

http://www.rightstuf.com/

they have almost every manga listed with their ISBNs, so I was able to add a lot of manga that I couldn't before. But maybe you already have a good system?
I'll add it once it really is in my possesion xD But thank you so much Laura! (and wow, are you looking through every single one of my books? :o )
She's a fine professor. You're just comparing me to you, Laura xD You're very impressionable (lol). I think that I'm less so. Usually I'm very narrow-minded and once I've made my mind up about something, I won't usually change it. I'm just not very fond of Medieval anything. I look at the two periods that it is sandwiched in between and find it vastly inferior and less interesting (xD). That's all.
xDDDDDDDDD

I'm thinking of becoming a monk, don't you know?

I decided to add all my school books and that Rule of St. Benedict is a book we had to buy for my Medieval class :p
I've been away from my bookcases too long...I don't remember what I have T_T (or what my books' covers look like...gya)
Hi Laura!

...and yeah...that's all I have to say right now
WHAT. You get to read Maus for class? You lucky dog, Tops.
GAH. YOU HAVE THE SECOND VOLUME OF MAUS. I've GOTTA borrow that, from you.
"Yes, it's incredibly easy to find me once I tell you where I am."

...some of us just aren't clever enough to figure out screenhandles, Tops. *tear* Yes. I fail at stalking.
*Jaws theme* Dun, dun...

I FOUND YOU, TOPS. *is ridiculously pleased with self*

I will proceed to pass hypocritical judgment upon your uploaded titles.

And if you buy the CueCat, please inform me, so I may infiltrate your home's defenses and STEAL IT.

Thank you.
