About meTribute Books celebrates its 5th year in 2009 as a independent publisher for independent writers.
I am proud to provide graphic design, quality printing, national distribution and book promotion for writers with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Publishing a book takes guts. An author needs to possess the courage to share his or her voice with the world. It is an investment of time, money and energy to transform a rough manuscript into a polished work. I applaud risk takers and strive to provide them with an outlet for their creations.
In many ways, it takes one to know one, and I too have rolled the dice throughout my life.
After graduating from Marywood University and time spent as an associate editor for a local magazine, I set up a publishing company - in of all places - Archbald, Pennsylvania - where I was born and raised.
Why did I do such a crazy thing?
Because I love the behind-the-scenes process of creating your book cover, formulating an attractive layout for your pages, faxing press releases to the media to announce your book launch – that's what gives me a thrill.
The best part of my job is when you see your book for the first time on Amazon.com or when you sign your name across the title page at a book signing. I love to see people realize a dream they thought to be impossible.
Because even in these crazy times – isn't that what America's all about?

“Now” - said a good book unto me -
“Open my pages and you shall see
Jewels of wisdom and treasures fine,
Gold and silver in every line,
And you may claim them if you but will
Open my pages and take your fill.
“Open my pages and run them o’er,
Take what you choose of my golden store.
Be you greedy, I shall not care -
All that you seize I shall gladly spare;
There is never a lock on my treasure doors,
Come - here are my jewels, make them yours!
“I am just a book on your mantel shelf,
But I can be part of your living self;
If only you’ll travel my pages through,
Then I will travel the world with you.
As two wines blended make better wine,
Blend your mind with these truths of mine.
“I’ll make you fitter to talk with men,
I’ll touch with silver the lines you pen,
I’ll lead you nearer the truth you seek,
I’ll strengthen you when your faith grows weak -
This place on your shelf is a prison cell,
Let me come into your mind to dwell!"

I have read and reviewed the book you sent me. You are correct that they just require a purchase for the account. I have not purchased from them on my latest account apparently, and do not have access any longer to my previous account, so I am not being allowed at this time to post. Since I promised to post my review on Amazon, I will correct this in the following week. In the meantime, here is the review posted on my books blog:

I will let you know when the post is up on Amazon.
Thanks,
Rebecca
