During the course of the semester I have read many different types of books. I never thought that creating a book was a easy process by no means but I didnt think so many details went into a book such as the pictures, whether its a remake or not, what message the author is trying to convey and many other factors.I did enjoy the selections of the books that I choose. I didnt have a complicated picking process either; Once the genre of book was named I tried to act like most children and pick by choosing what cover most atracted my attention. I really enjoyed reading many of the books especially Totally Joe and the Candy Bomber. I didnt think that you could try so many activities to get kids envolved with reading and allowing them to make a connection to different author's. I do think that I would have enjoyed reading the books more if I had a child in my home to read them to or could have done more feild experience that would have allowed me to read more. I would love to learn how to how to make better connections between many books when trying to get a point across to the students. Overall I enjoyed the experience but I think that I could have done a better job at picking certain books and pacing myself to look for certain elements in each book and be able to fully inderstand and know the elements when I see them.
