About meI am a student of most of the world's religions, including Mormonism, Catholicism, Gnosticism, Judaism, Taoism, Buddhism, and pretty much anything else you could mention. I also follow a philosophy known as "paradigm piracy", where beliefs themselves are seen as tools.

I also practice chaos magic, which is an "empty-handed" (without props or tools) form of magic that draws on as many sources as the practitioner cares to choose from. The emphasis in chaos magic is on technique and what gets results. In many respects, chaos magic is the practical application of the philosophy of paradigm piracy.

I am currently attending school as a psychology major in addition to being active in the Japanese anime/manga fan community.

About my libraryMost of my library consists of books on occultism, magic, astrology, and religion, with some books on science, and a healthy dose of manga.

I'm still in the process of cataloging, so stay tuned.

marvmax: "Do you draw your own avatars?"

Nah, I blatantly rip them off from anime and manga. My own drawing is terrible.
Hey Tsuzuki, I'm here to curse you for telling me about this site. HaHa. I like that "paradigm piracy." I've always thought of it as "Holy Envy" but I may be thinking something different. Do you draw your own avatars?
"I notice even though you read some religious books you do not read much theology outside your tradition. People come to mind are Karl Barth, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, C S Lewis, G K Chesterton. Aree there any Systematic Theologians in your church who have written adn published for a wider audience outside your tradition"

Are you kidding? You did notice the large chunk of books on occultism, didn't you? And I'm still cataloging, so stay tuned.

Glad to see you in the Mystical & Spiritual group.
