I just created a new LT group for GLBT Libraries. I hope it become the new group for GLBT Librarians who LT. http://www.librarything.com/groups/glbtl... Please consider joining this group.
You are one of the 3 LT members listing Indexing and Abstracting by Hans H. Wellisch as one of your books. Did you put up the cover image on that page? Is it correct? Wherever did it come from?
Could you extend the entry to include the subtitle, An International Bibliography?
Regards,
Hazel Bell
Thanks for the accept! Lovely to see the McCrea novel in your library - it's fabulous!

I'm so pleased to see this library at my alma mater. I came out at Michigan in the fall of 1986, my senior year. My debut was ushering a Holly Near concert on campus. None of the other ushers (I think that all of us were lesbian or bi) paid any attention to me and I felt like a total outsider. Maybe, it was because my hair was cut in a bob style at the time, which was not like the others, most of whom had mullets -- seriously, that's what was in vogue then.

I never tried anything community-oriented at Michigan after that and waited till I got to Chicago, where I lived for nine years and where I was very active in the community.

All's well that ends well. This library is a sign of a much more vibrant campus community, I infer. Good for you guys! I'm going to add the library to my LibraryThing friends.

Best,
Sarah Siegel
