About my libraryChildren's literature and other books suitable for school libraries. One major purpose of this catalog is to collect books to support the PYP (Primary Years Programme of the International Baccalaureate Organization (www.ibo.org) framework, including (but not limited to) tags for:

The IBO Learner Profile: INQUIRERS, KNOWLEDGEABLE, THINKERS, COMMUNICATORS, PRINCIPLES, OPEN-MINDED, CARING, RISK-TAKERS, BALANCED, and REFLECTIVE.

The PYP Concepts: FORM, FUNCTION, CAUSATION, CHANGE, CONNECTION, PERSPECTIVE, RESPONSIBILITY, and REFLECTION.

The PYP Attitudes: APPRECIATION, COMMITMENT, CONFIDENCE, COOPERATION, CREATIVITY, CURIOSITY, EMPATHY, ENTHUSIASM, INDEPEDENCE, INTEGRITY, RESPECT, and TOLERANCE.

NB: The review blurbs I write myself (as opposed to publishing blurbs or generic library catalog summaries, which I identify as such) reveal all -- because they are synopses meant to remind me about a book I've already read, NOT necessarily to entice someone else to read it.

I see you own one of my picture books (Who Hops? and Kindergarten Rocks!) so I hope you don't mind

This is magnificent! We are just starting to build up diplays of PYP titles and this is an excellent resource to quickly identify those that fit with the Learner Profile. Thanks so much

I'm at ISG - on an IB campus. Great idea for a PYP Library site! You've given us some interesting ideas - thanks for sharing in this particular way. It gives us a clearer picture your world than a plain old stand alone web page.
