About meThough born in Maryland, W. D. Prescott grew up in Londonderry, NH. He dropped out of high school to start college early at Simon's Rock College, in Great Barrington, MA, in 2000. By 2002, he had his Associate of Arts and in 2004 he graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and Musical Theory & Composition.
He spent the next two years trying to make it in the real world. Unfortunately, it was the real world of Southern New Jersey, which he is absolutely certain is the kryptonite of anyone from New England. After working at Borders and a third person identity screening company, he graduated in 2008 with his Master of Arts from the innovative Writing Popular Fiction program at Seton Hill University.
Currently, he is working on the last revision of his first novel. He is also writing stories for future collections and anthologies when he not working on his novel. The first of these stories, "The Tethering," was published in Tainted: Tales of Terror and the Supernatural from Strange Publications.
Stories and music are his passion, so his other hobbies are usually related to it in some way. Whether it be reading anything he can grab his hands onto, composing electronic and classical music pieces, collecting comics, or enjoying TV, movies, video games, and music. He especially enjoys anything animated or from the 80's, if not both.
About my libraryI read...a lot. And I read almost everything. So as I continue to add books you will have a plethora of books to browse and see how faceted my personality is (I still find new ones). It's not a complete list of everything I've read as I lost some books through moving, younger books still packed away, friends still have books, and many are my dad's that I will probably inherit (so in about 30+ years my library could easily double). So these are one that are on my bookshelves, both read, unread, and started and never got to finish for various reasons.
Also, any books of mine or that I have contributed to will be tagged: w. d. prescott

I've been loaning the book out, and people are loving it...even people who do not normally read or enjoy reading.

TO SERVE AND SUBMIT? Oh, looking forward to THAT review. I haven't read it, but none of the reviews I read about it gave me any reason to want to. :-/

Hey, let me know when you read GREYWALKER. I've gone back and forth over that one, and haven't quite been able to make myself pick it up.
