About meMy first book "Upside Over" official release date
November 27, 2006. I've cover many different subjects in the book, from raising children to dealing with death.
My journey to becoming a published author began as a healing process from the loss of my youngest brother, followed by the loss of my mother. I began to write to heal to remember and to let go. The book took on a life of it's own as it continued to journel my son's growing up and the changes that are documented about our family.
Forget the stories you’ve heard about the joys of raising children, and read the true accounts of Wanita Coy’s ‘Upside Over’. A delightful, somewhat humorous recollection of the trials of parenthood, every parent
can relate to. "Been there, done that" is what is being
said as the pages are being turned in this book!
About my libraryI have made many "author" friends in my journey. I would like to share their writing styles with you also.

In sum, Wanita Coy succeeds in painting an accurate portrait of the various family components most will experience in some manner in their lives. The author’s highly descriptive and humorous style of writing could further enhance the appeal of this work.

Both Mix 96.7 and 94.5 Coyote-FM Radio aired a story from the press release we got last week from your publisher.
I think it should be a point of community pride when a local author makes it into print, and is therefore newsworthy. You should send another note JUST BEFORE the release date, and - time permitting - we will do another mention.

The ups, the downs, and all the in betweens! I cried a little, I laughed a lot.
Ms. Coy openly shared a lifetime of love, laughter, tears, and outright honesty.
She has experienced her share of hardships and heartaches and did not let them overcome her.
When she found herself in "the barrel", she didn't duck, she faced it head on!
She has recognized everyone's quirks and made treasures of them.
She has made it easy to laugh at just about anything in retrospect.
I found "Upside Over" to be a truthful, humorous, and refreshing view inside of everyday family life.
It is wonderfully written with a gutsy spirit, and warmhearted hilarity.
This is a 5 star to me!
Thank you Ms. Coy. I needed this!

PublishAmerica Presents Upside Over By Wanita Coy
Frederick, MD September 28, 2006 -- PublishAmerica is proud to present Upside Over by Wanita Coy of Elko, Nevada. Upside Over is a humorous look at how having children completely changed the author’s life upon the discovery that babies do not come with instruction manuals. Coy’s husband’s point of view is well depicted as his wife is transformed from a hot and witty playmate to an overwhelmed and often cranky mother. It’s about surviving the parent game, learning that with a sense of humor a family can survive and become stronger, through the laughter and tears, through good times and bad as we take a step closer to insanity or just learn to accept reality. It reveals our coming to the understanding that for every time there is a season, and if we embrace life then we must learn to embrace death by learning to let go and say goodbye to loved ones.
Wanita Coy has been a public speaker and trainer for non-profit groups and specialized in: self-esteem, dealing with difficult personalities, diversity, outdoor survival skills, and sensitive issues. She’s worked in sales, public relations, personnel management, and Social Services. She is a wife and mother to four children.
PublishAmerica is the home of 20,000 talented authors. PublishAmerica is a traditional publishing company whose primary goal is to encourage and promote the works of new, previously undiscovered writers. Like more mainstream publishers, PublishAmerica pays its authors advances and royalties, makes its books available in both the United States and Europe through all bookstores, and never charges any fees for its services. PublishAmerica offers a distinctly personal, supportive alternative to vanity presses and less accessible publishers.

If not for the few grammatical flaws, I would give this book a 5 star rating! “Been there, done that, and I know where you’re coming from,” is what most parents will say while reading this book. A highly recommended reading for parents who may think they’re alone in their trials, or parent’s to be who believe their jobs will be an easy task.
