About me I come from a long line of fortune-tellers, musicians, indifferent housekeepers and spinners of tales. I began writing romance novels in middle school, which were often confiscated by my English teacher. My first novel is The Warrior Heir, a modern young adult fantasy set in Ohio (Hyperion, 2006). A companion book, The Wizard Heir, is scheduled for a May, 2007 release, and a third novel, The Dragon Heir, will debut in September, 2008.
I live in Ohio with my husband and two sons, teach at the University of Akron, and am always working on my next novel. You can find more information on my Webpage.

About my library This is in no way guaranteed to be complete; sometimes I forget to write things down for, like, a whole year. I also keep a list of books on my Webpage,

I just finished reading Wizard Heir, and thought I'd leave you a note to say how much I enjoyed it! I'm looking forward to Dragon Heir's upcoming release. Best of luck to you in your continued writing!
Just noticed that you are on LT and wanted to let you know (if you don't know already) that Warrior Heir is nominated for the 2009 Illinois Abraham Lincoln High School Book Award. This is an award voted on by students. If your book wins, I hope you will consider attending the Illinois School Library Media Association conference in fall of 2009! Thanks--your book is on my "to read" list!
WOW it sounds like it's really hard to write. Can't wait!
