About me I read. A LOT. But I suppose that's a given around here. My first love is reading, a close second is writing, and the third is martial arts. The martial arts angle really helps balance all that time spent sitting/ lying on the couch with a book or my laptop. It's unfortunate that reading and typing don't burn more calories.

About my library Always a work in progress. I have only just begun to list my books.

At the moment, since I am in the process of moving, my library is currently going through what I call a "samurai-ing", which means that it is going through a excrutiating whittling process where I am getting rid of every title that isn't absolutely necessary for my continued existence.

I think the Absolutely Unnecessary Books count is now up to three. And I'm still debating on two of them.

It just occurred to me, in my sleepless daze, that we forgot to plan to most obvious marketing tie-in for our Your-Fridge-Is-Not-For-Food Club: refrigerator magnets. Duh! (My return to this subject has been brought to you by... a lack of food and sleep at 3:00 in the morning. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.)
I liked Wrapt in Crystal and I loved the racial dichotomy in Heart of Gold. Just got Mystic from the library yesterday...I think I read it before but I can't remember.

Anyway, have fun and good luck sorting your books. :-) Occasionally I regret books I've given away and had to re-buy. As a result, I don't want to give away anything ;-p (well, except books I hate and would never, ever, even remotely read again.)
I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the Mediator series :-) It's one of my all time favorites. I preferred the Mediator series overall although I did enjoy the 1-800-Where-R-You series as well. There is a new 1-800 book coming out in January which I am looking forward to.
Glad to see you in the Mystical & Spiritual group. & yeah it is a pity that reading, & writing (especially the thinking invovled while writing) doesn't burn much calories.
Glad to see you in the Humor group.
LOL!
West, we should start a new club: The Your-Fridge-Is-Not-For-Food Club, dedicated to finding new and profitable uses for our refrigerators (since we can't afford to buy groceries, having spent all of our money on books). We could use our fridges for cold storage--stick a book in there, wait about one hundred years, pull it out in pristine condition and sell it on whatever mega-Ebay the next century provides. Or maybe we could just have a secret handshake. And hats.
Hello West Wind,

Thanks for the tip about the Boulder tea houses! I might make a special trip up there just for that! It sounds wonderful!
Actually, it was Wrapt in Crystal I bought. :-( But I have Mystic and Rider reserved from the library. I'll definitely let you know once I read it. Now I'm curious. :-)
Oh, and also I have tags for "have not yet read" and "want to buy". There's been a debate on the wishlist I think on the Google groups site. One-stop-shopping for family and friends for Christmas/birthdays. :-)
Just got Mystic and Rider yesterday at Half Price and was thinking of reading it this weekend. (Need to change the tag from "want to buy" to "have".) I read the reviews and it looks interesting. We'll definitely have to compare once I'm done. It sounds like it disappointed you?
