About meI am married, live in the woods and love to read. I have a love of anything Scottish, due to family roots. I am interested in WWII because my Father was a POW. I like to read about history that happened in the area I live. I love fantasy, family & chick lit or books with happy endings. I read and have alot of health books because I grew up with a sister with leukemia, my Mother had colon cancer, my other sister has fibromyalgia, I have slipped disc's and neck fusion and my Father passed of heart failure.
I can also be found on Book Mooch at http://www.bookmooch.com/m/

About my libraryI am eclectic in my likes. I have general fiction, non-fiction, mystery, romance, history & fantasy.

Dear Heather
Thank you for your positive comments on Livin Welll with Chronic Pain.
The comfortable and comforting people are those who look upon
the bright side of life; gathering its roses and sunshine and making
the most that happens seem the best.

Ack!

Thanks for the feedback, it is good to know. I'm amazed no one else has mentioned it.
Thanks for the review and I'm glad you enjoyed the book :-) Honestly, I can't remember if the book was revised again before I published it (it has been a few years) although I tend to think it wasn't. I would be curious to know the mistakes you found and welcome the input.
Thanks for letting me know you received the book. I hope you enjoy it!
TAIC has sounds attached to the grammatical lessons.

Beagh air Bheag is the BBC's online learning programme with sound, which has links to other materials.

Speaking our Language is a website where you can watch episodes of the programme as they are uploaded to youtube.

There are various forums and networking websites, too, where people hook up with Skype conversations, including learners. I've just registered with My Gaelic a networking site for Gaelic speakers and learners; you may be able to find teachers there to help.

The following books all have CDs attached:

"Everyday Gaelic" by Morag MacNeill (ISBN: 1841583707);
"Colloquial Scottish Gaelic" by Katharine M. Spadaro (ISBN: 9780415206778) - another edition has cassettes;
"Teach Yourself Gaelic Conversation" by Boyd Robertson (ISBN: 978-0340968772) is just three CDs, and a small booklet.
If you want sounds, I can direct you to various websites that have audio attached, not to mention BBC Alba has a learning section with sounds. There are several books/courses that have CDs attached and you can even watch videos at youtube of "Can Seo" and "Speaking our Language" online.
Saw your review of "Teach Yourself" Gaelic - are you aware that it does come with CDs?
