About meI'm a recent college graduate, with a degree in writing, literature, and publishing. Books and the English language are my greatest passions in life. I hope to become an editor.

About my libraryMy library is focused on folklore and mythology, with an emphasis on faerylore. I also collect rare and antique books concerning folklore, mythology, and faeries. A few highlights of my antique collection include a first edition of Yeats' Fairy and Folkltales of the Irish Peasantry as well as a first edition of The Celtic Twilight, a first edition presentation copy of Wirt Sikes' British Goblins, four first editions of Cicely Mary Barker's flower fairy books and first editions of The Grey Fairy Book and The Yellow Fairy Book by Andrew Lang. I also have a copy of Christina Rossetti's poems signed and annotated by Cicely Mary Barker and a complete collection of the Strand magazines chronicling the Cottingley Fairy events.

Ello there. I had a question about a book you reviewed. For some reason I've been drawn to "The Folk Keeper" by Franny Billingsley . Though from the reviews I've read that it's more based towards children, would it be something a 25 year old, who loves fantasy, would enjoy? Just curious! Thanks!!
I encourage you to explore more Arthurian Lit... I find it all absolutely fascinating! Have you read any Arthurian tales?
Thanks for accepting my friend request. You have a wonderful assortment of books in your library.

I am glad I found you, too! I have been a busy bee trying to get my library cataloged this last week. I am about 1/3 finished with my little project. I hope you have a lovely week. Feel free to visit any time.

Love,
Terrie
Hi, I noticed you "friended" my library today and I was happy to accept and friend yours in return. I was just taking a peek at your library and I am really impressed with the books that you have. I will be adding some new titles to my amazon.com wishlist tonight. :)

The rare and antique books you mention have me dreaming...what wonders. The Christina Rossetti that has been in the very hands of Miss Barker...that is just too much! I would expect it to have magic glimmering in the binding. We do have some books in common and you sound like a lovely person. I am quite new to this place. I would like to offer you my friendship.
