Firstly, as Philip says above, apologies to have been so long replying but I've not logged in here for a while.
I'm afraid I don't have a scanner; if I ever need to use one for any reason I take advantage of the local public library. I admit I'm somewhat confused by your query, since your profile here shows you already own "My part of the river".
If you'd care to get back to me with more specific information I'll certainly he happy to help if I can, although there's no way I could consider scanning the whole book, which would take days!
Regards, Joe.

Many thanks for your message about different editions. Mine is, I think, the original edition published jointly by The Bodley Head and the BBC in 1979. I had no idea it had been a TV series. We may not have seen it in Canada. I am a sucker for all things having to do with luxury travel of the golden age. I collect old menus from liners and cruise ships and such ephemera as paper napkins with cruise line logos or odd bits of china from old liners. Not thorough, just desultory. I am always disappointed when I find an unknown title on airliners, trains, and ships on the used book shelves and open it, only to realize that it is almost entirely about engines, construction, and everything except passengers!
You are kind to give me instructions about uploading book covers to LT. I have a MAC so the process is a little different, but without your initial request I would never have found out how to do it. For the last few days I have indulged in an orgy of uploading covers so that my "illustrated" listing is getting reasonably complete. Interested to see that you belong to many groups. I haven't tried that yet.
