GroupsMedieval Europe, Medieval manuscripts
About me I'm interested in Illuminated Manuscripts and other graphic arts of the Middle Ages with a specific interest in the East Anglian gothic style. I'm working on my skills with the end goal of doing pieces that would require some kind of dating analysis to confirm that they weren't the real thing.-} I enjoy visiting England and am hoping to visit Bamburgh Castle (see photo) the next time I go.
About my library My on-line Library is mostly related to medieval illuminated manuscripts and references for the work with occassional forays into other crafts and into various cultures - will know more about what I actually own after I've entered them all.-} When working on projects I often find I want just one or two more books for reference and so have put Bookfinder and a few other websites on my favorites list and am using Library Thing to get ideas for other books I "need" to acquire.
