About meI'm the mother of one avid reader and one beginning reader, both boys, and assorted small, cold-blooded pets and houseplants. I love the city and the wild (or what passes for it in the Northeast) but not the suburbs. I majored in English Literature, and read books in English and occasionally French. I work as a freelance marketing writer and website builder, and unpaid assistant to my very entrepreneurial other half. I also do some volunteer work with the Taproot Foundation. I like walking and taking photos of nature and urban scenery.
About my libraryI used to keep all books, in order to honestly reflect all my reading. But city living spaces being what they are, I've stopped keeping things I actually disliked, or will never reread, or never even get around to reading in the first place. People often leave books out for taking in my neighborhood, which is making my collection even more eclectic. I tend to read everything I can find by authors I really like.
