Welcome to Books Compared. Hope you'll join the discussion and feel inspired to post a comparison review. I enjoyed your review of King Solomon's Mines - though I'm not sure Heart of Darkness was racist, as whiteness often seemed to symbolize death and moral decay in that novel.
