GroupsComics, What Are You Reading Now?

About meA lifelong reader.
Current occupation: High school media specialist.
Former occupations: College librarian, public library children's librarian.
Besides books I also collect/read comic books and magazines related to comic book history and collecting.

About my libraryLargely composed of science fiction and series novels based on various television series, movies, or comic book characters. Also non-fiction books in the same categories, plus some in the following: history, American pop culture (classic TV shows, old time radio, vaudeville performers, etc.), and religious/inspirational. Some general fiction, as well. And many "graphic novels" or other types of comic book material collections (which I really consider more part of my comics collection than my books but I might list them here, as well).

Man, and I thought my reading was overly structured! I have a 200-item long list of books I haven't read, and I try to rotate through types (tie-ins, general sf, fantasy, general literature, nonfic, comics) them on a basis proportional to how many I have of each type. The period and superhero projects sound especially fascinating; I've long been curious about Adventures of Superman. (Looking at that Wiki page, superhero prose fiction sure has exploded in the past decade!)

I've been immensely un-busy; I don't have or take classes in the summer, so I've been trying to do my reading for my Master's exam in the winter. I have a part-time job, but it's been a bit of a bust; I garner about five hours every two weeks.
David Young! I remember you from Psi Phi back in the day! How did that reading project ever turn out?
Hi David,

Thanks for letting me know about KJ's newest V novel, I was not aware of it.
Hello there! You are constantly on the top of my "users with your books" because we both have the V saga. Although I admit, it's been awhile since I've read them. I'm also from Florida, was born in Orlando and grew up in Melbourne. Just wanted to say 'hello'. Have a nice evening.
Do you have all 16 V books in your library? I could only read the LA & Ny ones. Are you planning to read Kenneth Johnson's new one? hmmm
