About meI guess you could call me an omnivoracious reader. I read all kinds of things and I read a lot. If I'm reading just for fun, you'll probably find me reading science fiction or fantasy. (If you've browsed my catalog, you probably noticed this.) I do a good bit of educational reading too though.

About my libraryMy main collection consists only of books I own and have read the whole way through. The only exceptions to this are A) books that I have lost (usually due to lending and not getting them back) and books tagged as reference, although I may have read through some of those.

"Read but unowned" is self-explanatory, but only includes books I've read since these categories became available. "Owned but unread" is badly incomplete. Someday I may motivate myself to catalog those.

Almost all of my books are used, as I am a self-confessed cheapskate bastard. In many ways, I *prefer* used bookstores to new, and not just because of the prices.
