About me Book lover from the start, became addicted to Puffin paperback children's books from England when I was about 8 years old. Have always considered myself a collector, although not a connoisseur of specific editions. It runs in the family. Currently working in two libraries and doing art work. Enjoyed my time at KU in IHP in the late 70's. Homeschooled from 1981- 2002. Traveled to Europe a few times, spent time in Ireland and Holland. Have lived in KS most of my life with connections in New Mexico, Oregon, and Washington.

About my library I still have all my own childhood books, a collection from my years in the Catholic Church, further collections from exploring metaphysical issues, art related stuff, alternative healing, poetry, biographies, historical fiction, humor, travel, children's classics, etc. I like best getting books for free, and I belong to Bookcrossing, and RABCK. I don't collect rare editions, but I do collect those books that go with others I already have, and I figure if I'm supposed to get something special, it will come my way on its own. I do send book requests out to the universe, and sometimes receive them in a coincidental way.
I'm not listing exact editions here on Library Thing, I'm mostly interested in getting the titles listed for my own reference.
My library is spread out over five locations in three states last time I counted. It makes cataloging difficult. I did a huge weed a few years ago and now I regret that.

I think I picked up that Bill Nye book at a local charity booksale. I love it! As for my icon (I love yours by the way,) I'm not even sure anymore where I got the program that does it. Wish I could, I really like how it looks. Thanks for stopping by!

Cheers, Sage
Jeremy Bangs--yes, I'm in his field. I'm not sure that I've ever met him personally but I do own his books. Don't you love Librarything?
I am not cataloging these according to the exact edition I have, I'm just getting titles on here that I own.
