About meBorn 1983. Female. Single. Secular Jew-cum-Atheist.
All-around slob, deviant, and perv. Very pretentious.
I wanted to be an Erotica writer, until I came to the painful realization
that I don't know how to write. I'm the author of many perpetually
unfinished novels.
If you find a half-finished manuscript crumpled up in the trash, with
notes scribbled all over it, numerous food stains, about BDSM in general,
and Fem-Dom in particular, utilizing too many big words pulled right out
of the Thesaurus - that's probably one of mine. ;)
About my libraryI'm obsessed with sorting things, so Librarything is a
deliciously appropriate toy for me. Thanks to tagging, now I can quickly see
how many books I have by this author, how many autographed books, how
many books with a blue cover... (Okay, maybe not that last one.)

I will not live in fear of falling or catching fire.
I choose to inhabit my days, to allow my living to open me,
to make me less afraid, more accessible, to loosen my heart
until it becomes a wing, a torch, a promise.
I choose to risk my significance; to live so that which comes to me as seed,
goes to the next as blossom
and that which comes to me as blossom,
goes on as fruit.

the first is in the pub whenn ford tells arthur that he is from a different planet and the second is the naked guy who walks in the ocean whenn he realizes that colored paperpieces are not the way to happines.

hope you have fun with the sherlock holmes books, i find them ... hmmm ... sub-enjoyable. that results mostly from the failure of the story to be a gripping crimestory. most of the times holmes finds the culprit through a number of little hints that where not mentioned earlyer in the story, thats realy good for a movie (becaus an attentive viewer can spot them early on and be a bit of a competition to holmes) but for a book ... there are no hints in the story before holmes says so.

try Conrads "The Heart of Darkness", Childers "The Riddle of the Sands" or Burnetts "The Secret Garden". of course every Sherlock Holmes is also a perfect example of Victoriana even if they are terrible in the crimestory department.
