About meI'm married and I'm a pharmacist.I'm Scottish, but I live in England. I love reading, but I seem to read less and less. Librarything has helped me rediscover a lot of my favourite books, so I'm reading a little more again.
About my libraryWhere collections of various writers work are concerned, I tend to put the editor's name in the "author" box. I've only entered books I've read so far, but once I get round to it, I'm going to deal with the unread boxes under the bed...

I just read your review of Bruce Sterling's Distraction and agree that it is a superb exploration of the near future. You might also find similar to this Charlie Stross's Halting State, and Ken Macleod's The Night Sessions, as both are strong near future novels, with the added element of being set in Edinburgh.
