About meInformation ecologist and lifelong book lover, I overcame creeping bibliomania in 2004 by breaking up a collection of some 2,000 works. Formerly, I worked as a library page and circulation desk clerk, English teacher, university lecturer, educational technology reseller, community activist and environmental director. Today, I manage an information clearinghouse for the United Nations in Geneva and am exploring virtual ways of fulfilling my passion for collecting books.

About my libraryPhilosophy and political theory, modern literature (with strong British and Central European influences); environment and nature studies; history; language; poetry; some remnants of past academic work. I try to keep a good balance between works that I've read and admired and will dip into again, and those that I plan to start in the near future. I am a slow reader.
