About meI am a tech. support rep. for a company that provides satellite communications and internet solutions. My wife, Anna, is a high school chemistry teacher. We are ardent members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am a Ward Missionary and Anna is the Personal Progress Leader in the Young Women program. Currently our family includes the two of us and our beautiful Bagel Hound dog, Longfellow. We hope to add children to our family someday soon. As is often the case with couples, we agree on a lot politically but do have our differences too. I am extremely libertarian (the principles, not the party). Anna agrees with me most of the time but tends to lean slightly more toward the right when it comes to social issues.

About my libraryAnna describes the portion of our library that I brought with me into the marriage as that of one belonging to "a closet Institute Director." We own a significant portion of the books, lesson manuals, handbooks, and guides that are available from Church Distribution, a decent sized collection of apologist volumes, as well as several LDS and general Judaeo-Christian reference tomes. We have a lot of books on politics, economics, history, and social issues as well as many in the sciences (particularly biology and chemistry). In the area of imaginative works (i.e. fiction) our tastes are somewhat eclectic but we do have more sci-fi/fantasy, classic literature, mystery, and espionage/political intrigue than anything else.
