GroupsBooks that made me think

About meI'm 36, married, a father of two. College educated, self-employed.

About my libraryUpdated August 21st, 2007

This is mostly my Amazon purchases over the last few years. This means non-fiction -explaining the writing, strengths, self-defense, finance, software, politics and photography sections, which were all interests or work at one point.

A lot of fiction I pick up while browsing in real book stores and will add it as I can, manually and lovingly. I studied English Lit in school and have read some of the classics but those were sold long ago to pay rent, so I'm unsure whether to enter them in my library.

My favorite current bookstore is Faulkner House in Pirate's Alley, New Orleans.

Great. Send my your e-mail address (mine is mail@christophertusa.com), and I'll e-mail you the e-book.

Thanks,

Chris
Hi,

Was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Saw you liked Butcher Boy, and I thought you might like my novel since it's also about a disturbed adolescent (like Butcher Boy, it's also a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thank you for joining the Political Conservatives group. Welcome!
I love your list. I think you should enter your old school books into your library. In my opinion, your library is less to do with material posession and more to do with experience. If you borrow a book and read it, I think even that becomes part of your "living" library. My question is actually, whether to put in the books that you read because you were forced to, but didn't want to. (I was an English major, too...heh) At any rate, since this application will bring togehter people with similar interests, put 'em in!
