About meI’m a museum curator in charge of mostly moa bones. I like the ukulele, drawing, and teaching blokes to knit.

About my libraryMy books are pretty much split between modern fiction, design/typography, very random non-fiction, and cooking. Currently 475 of them are packed into exactly fifteen 10" x 12" x 15" boxes, each weighing between 35 and 40 pounds. That's 15.6 cubic feet, and about 560 pounds (or 250 kg) of books total. So an average book of mine weighs 1 lb 2 oz. Who knew?

When reunited, they'll take up 20 Lundia shelves, which will be a whole wall of my apartment. Looking forward to having them all in one place, the first time since I went overseas in 1999.
