About meI studied giant flightless birds at Duke for my PhD, and work with scientists on visually communicating their data. I like the ukulele and teaching blokes to knit.
About my libraryMy books are pretty much split between modern fiction, design/typography, very random non-fiction, and cooking. Currently 475 of them are packed into exactly fifteen 10" x 12" x 15" boxes, each weighing between 35 and 40 pounds. That's 15.6 cubic feet, and about 560 pounds (or 250 kg) of books total. So an average book of mine weighs 1 lb 2 oz. Who knew?
