GroupsLibrarians who LibraryThing, Read YA Lit

About me Professional Bibliophile. Bookish Bohemian who wants to change the world, one reader at a time. Resourceress. Teen Advocate. YA Librarian.

About my library Things I've read and listened to: titles from the library where I work, and ones from my own collection. I read a lot of YA lit, and love listening to audiobooks in the car or while cleaning the house. I favor realistic and contemporary fiction, coming of age stories, psychological thrillers, quirky characters, memoirs of addiction and mental illness, stories in verse, sarcastic humor, and magical realism.

Hello, hello! Well, I've updated my pages at last, and will keep it current!
Hullo! It's Eva. I'm still working on transferring even what I've got from my facebook Visual Bookshelf to here...and there are plenty after that I'm sure I've forgotten.

But hiya!
Hi! Working in a library sounds *very* cool. And it's awesome that you're helping teens discover books. (I don't know how I would have made it through my teen years without books !) I have two teenage sons who are both big readers, which is cool, because sometimes we can share books. When they were little, it was Dr Seuss...now it's Terry Pratchett. ;)

Hi! Thanks for being my LibraryThing friend. It's nice to meet you. It must be such fun to work in a library, especially with YA lit!

Lisa :)
Now we share 89 books in common! I just finished A Thousand Splendid Suns. SOOOO good -- you'll like.
