I attended Parkview High School, ran Cross-Country, debated, and eventually earned a Cross Country athletic scholarship. As an undergraduate I studied History and took an interest in Philosophy. I had planned to earn my Ph.D in American History, but a poor job market and extenuating circumstances led to me helping digitize Richard Gephardt’s Congressional Papers.
