About meI'm a freelance writer and blogger in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have strong ties to Japan--born in Okinawa, lived in Tokyo--so you'll see a lot of Japanese literature in my library. Kobo Abe is a favorite, and I've read everything by Ishiguro. I'm currently working on a novel, hopefully the first to be published in the near future.

About my libraryYou'll find a little of everything in my library, but not many genre novels like mystery or romance, although I can appreciate good sci-fi or horror. I'm drawn to the psychological and the surreal, the inner experience. I love authors who can pull you in to memories, dreams and nightmares with strong writing.
