About meI'm a 20-something lifelong Alaskan, self-proclaimed geek, aimless drifter, and all-around weirdo.

I love reading, travel, sleeping in, music, movies, hiking, sci-fi/fantasy, studying the American Civil War, cooking, and my beautiful home state of Alaska. I'm addicted to my iPod, high speed internet, green tea lattes, and being unemployed.

About my libraryI like to pick up books while traveling and can be a bit of a completionist when it comes to my favorite authors/subjects. I haven't read every book in my library yet but I'm actually getting pretty close now. (If being within several dozen equals close.)

Thanks for responding, yes my daughters are readers, but very selective at this time. MY 26 year old has always been interested in true crime and forensics, and People magazine, we call her the Hollywood Insider. My 20 year old is obsessed with John Lennon right now and reads every book about him and the Beatles. She's gone through all the Harry Potter's too. My 14 year old is willing to read a broader range of books. I often find good YA books for her at library sales. I am interested in the YA books too, as I would like to write one someday. They are being pretty well-educated by the school system, I am happy and suprised to say. My 20 year old is in her junior year for Criminal Justice. She would like to be a lawyer, or a forensic investigator. They are really great young women, and I am very proud and impressed by them. I think you were in my members with my books column or I just followed you here from another site. I just jump around and check out different libraries. Alaska is a favorite subject of mine. If I ever leave my life behind, when my yougest does not need me anymore, I think I will come to Alaska. Tell me something about it bye for now;>MB
and a Charlene reference, bravo.

I wonder why we haven't heard mention of her on TCR lately...maybe the police finally started enforcing that restraining order? ;)
