About meI am a librarian at the Rideau Branch of the Ottawa Public Library. I work with both adults and children there, so my reading can be a little schizophrenic. I did my undergad in Honours English (thesis topic: sympathy in the novels of E. M. Forster, with background reading from Vanity Fair to Midnight's Children!).

A couple of summers ago, my wife and I visited Cape Cod. They've turned Edward Gorey's house into a museum, and its well worth a stop if you ever get over that way. I'm sure its an easier drive from Ottawa than it was from Winnipeg!

I enjoyed your presentation on RA Blogs at CLA last week. I'm a librarian at a public library in Winnipeg. Since I've been back I've used the Google Reader to subscribe to some of your recommended blogs, and I have some of my staff doing the same.
It's always good to see another librarian on here!

It must have been you that told me about Librarything.com! Somewhere I heard about it and absolutely love it. I don't use it to its full potential- more of a better
list making thing but, there you go. I don't know if you can see my tags but, I'm
at spargoam
Thanks!

I'm just catching up with some reading from the OLA conference, and am enjoying the slides you posted from your talk. You have a great collection here! I've added you as an interesting library, and look forward to seeing which novels you pick up!
