About me Every room needs a full bookshelf.

One of my favorite lazy-day hobbies is to trawl through thrift stores looking for more books to add to the shelf. I tend to get a lot of books this way with damaged or no dustjacket, but that's okay with me. It's what's inside that matters.

p.s. Someone sent me a link to a PDF, downloadable, version of the book (Road to Hel), and I am grateful for it, as it is the entire book and I can print it out if I want. I am still looking for the book itself, though, as I am just too much of a bibliophile not to want the actual book. So if ever you do see another copy on bookmooch, please please let me know.

Thanks for the response. Boy, that was a good mooch! I have never tried bookmooch. I do, however, have books I am trying to find new homes for, either duplicate copies or books I just don't have room for. I set up a separate librarything account for my orphan books - the profile name is booksInolongerneed:

I only have about a third of them up right now, but you are welcome to look at them and if I have something you want, I'd be glad to send it.

Hi, I was wondering if you might (it's a long-shot, I know), remember where you picked up a copy of your ROAD TO HEL by Hilda Davidson. I have been looking for a copy of that forever, it seems, and it just isn't available in any of the new OR used bookstores that I have looked in. I have looked online everywhere. Someone else who had a copy told me I needed to check out the independent, smaller bookstores that specialize in occult or mythical titles. I have looked in as many as I can find, but I am sure there are tons out there I don't know about. The latest edition of this book was published in 2002, so it isn't that old, just something that most stores are not carrying. Anyway, I am writing the handful of people on librarything that have a copy in the faint hope that they might remember a small store they picked it up in and can direct me there. Thanks for letting me take up your time. I am just SO eager to find this title. I love Davidson's work and love Norse myth and this is the only book I cannot find anywhere. If you know of any used book stores, I'd be happy with a used copy too, at almost any price. I just want to find it.
