I actually visited Tbilisi and then read the book, I also got his booktips on hiking in Georgia. My wife is armenian so we have almost annual trips to Armenia and it takes only 7 hours with bus from Yerevan. I had intended to go this summer, but stayed in Yerevan all the time.
When it comes to the books, Are there anything in particular?
There seem to be tendency in some libraries that people who read about Armenia also find their way to Ethiopia. I was lucky to receive 3 books on Christmas eve. Sula Benets book on old people in Caucasus, and 2 books on Ethiopia. As I didn´t expect them yet I bought " The Master and Margarita".
