About meI have always loved books. My parents, who could never agree on much of anything else, love books. My husband loves books. Both of my children love books.
I love old-fashioned public libraries, where people talk quietly, and there is a reverence for books. I worked in one for eleven years. The high point of my work week was finding the New York Times Book Review in my mailbox.
It is important to me how a book feels in my hands when I hold it. And, yes, sometimes I do judge a book by its cover.
About my librarySome of the books listed here are in the joint custody of my husband (zenarchr) and me. But our interests in reading don't overlap all that much. I am seriously thinking about adding my daughter's books to my library, as well, since many of them still reside here, but I feel that I would have to read them first to be fair about it.
