About meIn my 40's, female, Australian, living in New York for the past 7 years. Married with one child. Read Tarot cards for 20 years now (in person only, but if you are in Tribeca, drop me a line) Voracious reader.

About my libraryMainly erotica, romances and sci-fi/fantasy. Haven't kept all books, wanted a reminder of which books I liked and which I did not. Have strong opinions, but share nicely. I read a lot of books, and sometimes they start to blur. I write a review of every single book I read (or at least try to) and some reviews are simple reminders to me of what I did or didn't like, and may not be so useful to the outside reader, but I do try and give a reason for my opinions. Read and enjoy!

Great library, enjoyed browsing your detailed reviews.
Hi there -- i loved reading through your reviews. We clearly have a lot of the same reading interests.
Hello!

Thanks for dropping by with your greetings and comments, and my apologies for the late response too! I rarely log in these days, maybe once or twice a month to check out some book recommendations when I'm dry on reading material :) I, too, have not kept my LT up to date - reading a lot, but my efforts to catalog and review them have fallen behind terribly hehe

Lately I've been veering off romance and picking up tons and tons of paranormal...vampires, vampire-hunters, nemocrancers, mage/wizard, witch, demon, demon-hunter etc etc. Maybe I just need more sizzle and excitement in my reading :) Just finished the first 2 Lilith Saintcrow books, 5 thumbs up, waiting for The Devil's Right Hand to be released tomorrow. Also started on Kim Harrison's Hollows Series - nice! I'm halfway through A Fistful of Charms, with a Few Demons More on my TBR. Another fab fab series is Jim Butcher's Dresden Files - just finished the first 2 books, couldn't put them down, and I plan to continue with it...And of course! Sherrilyn Kenyon's latest Dark-Hunter Devil May Cry....this is the first series which started me on paranormal romance and i'm a loyal fan :) What about you? Any great reads recently?

For ebook formats, I've tried PDF (which i absolutely dislike) - it is super dupe heavy and crashes my system all the time, and difficult to read. Microsoft Lit is OK, but I find it a little restrictive. I have been trying Mobipocket over the past few months, and it works superb for me - love its Full Screen and easy scrolling, and how it can import other formats, which is far more accessible than other formats. What have you been using?

Hope you're having a great day in New York (I actually love Australia a lot more, laid back, with a wonderful preservation and respect for nature) :)
It's cool to have a place with so many book lovers! Gives me all sorts of new recs!
