It was Piers Anthony who wrote the series about the girl who travelled through parallel worlds with her horse: the first book is Virtual mode http://www.librarything.com/work/38574
I loved Twilight - I couldn't put it down. I am still undecided about what I think happens after the end.
Found Wrapt in Crystal at the used bookstore. Haven't been able to put it down. Have you started it yet?
Weeeeell, don't want to spoil it for you or anything... and it may be too late for that already. Damnit! Sorry about that. Once you're finished with it let me know what you think and we'll discuss.
Hi there! I'll continue updating my list one of these days, really!
Saw your post in the Green Dragon concening Sharon Shinn, who I happen to think is one of the most notable sci-fi/fantasy authors of the moment. I have enjoyed most of her work immensely until I read Mystic & Rider, and its sequel, The Thirteenth House. Have you read them? What's your opinion?
Thanks for the URL. I'll give it a try.
