About me"Sirens all. Of the reading of many books there is no end."

"I cannot emphasize enough how much my literary education owes to both browsing through secondhand bookstores and actually possessing my own hardback copies of great works of literature and scholarship."

Both quotes by Michael Dirda

Uhh...wait on that addition. I'm going to have to put it in mannually.
home from pasadena now. Picked up a freebee for you at vromans. I'll get it mailed here sometime unless you already have one. It is an annotated listing of the penguin classics. About to add it to my library now if you want to tale a look. Love ya!
Andrea, just wanted to let you know that for some reason your new entries are showing up as your year in NYC. :) Just entered my new purchases from the trip to see you. Thanks again, I had a great time!

Yes a picture would be nice. Yes to your question about a link to your blog...( 3 years later) CNG
The books came from Powell Books. On the packing sheet it had: Gift note: from your LT Secret Santa, andrealibrarian.

It also had "Bill to:" lst LT Reed E Peeples, in Germany. I think he was the acct. that the $25 was charged to.

So, it looks like these books had connections spread wide and far.

Thanks again, Im going to enjoy them.

Just curious, what did you get?
Thank you very much for my LT SantaThing books. They are perfect. You have found one of the few books about Japan that I don't have. I was planning to do a "mini" read of all of the Kiriyama Prize winners this year, and "Mister Pip" will be the first. And I actually have never read "A Christmas Carol". Thank you very much.
you guys have an adorable family!
