About meMy livejournal profile contains what you'll want to know.

angharad_reads is an ongoing log of books I read.

I seem to join groups for bookmarking and for census purposes. I occasionally socialise.

About my libraryI used a barcode-scanner to catalogue most of my library. I shelve my mysteries chronologically by series (from Falco up through Mma Ramotswe). More books are in a storage unit in the state I used to live in.

You can see (slightly outdated) photos of my bookshelves at Flickr.

Hello, New to LT, thanks for all the books and reviews you have provided! Very interesting stuff.

We noticed that you were a Jorge Luis Borges fan, and we wanted to let you know that we’ve just published a brand new translation of his story, “Gradus Ad Parnassum,” in our anthology, ‘flatmanCROOKED – First Winter.’ “Gradus Ad Parnassum” is not currently in print in English, so we’re rather excited to publish what is to many Borges fans brand new work. The book also includes debut fiction from National Book Award winner Ha Jin, as well as stories from myriad other established and emerging authors. Check the book out at www.flatmancrooked.com/fmcmarket.html. If you get it through our website, it’s significantly cheaper than through Amazon or Barnes & Noble!
I also noticed you were looking for some H.M. Hoover books. I've read every SF book she wrote, and only disliked one. She's a terrific author, and I wish her books were easier to find. I own all the ones I liked, and it was a real struggle.
I am also named after a book character, in How Green was my Valley. My mother adored it and I am stuck with it. No one can pronounce it or spell it, so I go by Annie. There are several Angharads in fantasy books I've read. I knew someone who knew another Angharad, but I've yet to meet one in real life.
Is your name actually Angharad? That's my name! I never expected to even see another Angharad on the net.
Thanks for letting me know about the Wordie group.
Thanks for joining Used Books! I used to have a storage unit for all my books too! People think it's dumb to do that, but what do they know?
my town's library is my favorite spot!
Hey, I've got one of these thingys too now. You've got me hooked like on smack!
