About me I'm a writer who does volunteer work for literacy projects. I love to read when I have the time (esp. fiction by minority and Irish writers). One of my pet projects is wildlife conservation and rescue of abandoned domestic animals. We now have four cats, four dogs and an African Grey parrot.

About my library My all-time favorite novels always have hauntings in them (I believe in ghosts and have had some frightening experiences in a few of the many homes I have lived in).

Am reading all of Louis Owens' fiction for the third time. What a terrible loss that he will never write another book!
