About meGeotechnical engineer, capitalist, lapsed Catholic. Father to a baby girl (who has her own paid LibraryThing account, since she now has more than 200 books).

About my libraryI'm still working on tagging books. I've gotten most of the books in my house, except a few without ISBNs and some stragglers.

One of my tags is a little odd:

"Historical" means that the original book was written before 1900. I don't actually own anything quite that old, just reprints.

I'm embarrased by the number of "to read" books I have.

Howdy :o)
Thank you for joining the Political Conservatives group. Welcome! Maybe we could form a TINY subgroup of Bay Area conservatives. :)
I don't actually have both, I just have them here because I use LT as my "books to read" list. Though they have different subtitles, I notice they have identical LoC numbers, so they're probably the same book.
