About meI work as a reference librarian at Eastern Illinois University. In my spare time, I'm a writer and book review editor. My latest book, Historical Fiction II, a guide to historical novels published between 2004 and mid-2008, was published in April 2009. The previous volume, Historical Fiction: A Guide to the Genre (2005), looks at novels appearing between 1995 and 2004. I also review historical fiction for Booklist and the Globe & Mail.
About my libraryI read and collect historical novels, and revel in collecting (and reading, of course) obscure biographical novels on royalty. Frequent subjects in my collection: historical fiction, fantasy, mystery, British sagas, linguistics, French literature, romance. The computer books and technothrillers belong to my husband. I have about 1200 more books besides what's listed here, but they don't have ISBNs and I'm not up to entering them all in manually.
