About me Largely quiet and introverted, books were my best friends as a child, now most of my friends are people who I met because of the books I read.

About my library Mostly science fiction and fantasy with a smattering of non-fiction, the largest shelf of which is cooking books. As of now I'm still entering them in. About a third of the way through the paper backs.

Hello,

Sorry to have taken so long to respond. I haven't visited the site for a little while.

No, haven't encountered either of those you mentioned. I just wish LMB would go back to writing more Vorkosigan books.

Regards,

ariom
Hello there,

Nice to find another LMB and Pratchett fan in WA. I've added you to my interesting libraries, may I add you to my Friends?

Do you prefer LMB's sf or her fantasy books?

Hope to hear from you sometime,

Ariom
The other volume is Speaking our Language number 1. I updated the entry, thanks.

Sorry for delay in response, business trip followed by trip to family in Scotland and Ireland.
Has Meisha Merlin's impending shutdown caused you guys a problem?

In general, any time a publisher is shot out from under an author, there are problems. Sometimes even Problems.

I think the MM shutdown isn't quite as bad as it could be for us, but it's by no means problem-free.
