About meI'm head of Archives & Special Collections at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Before this I've lived all sorts of places: Wisconsin, Washington, Manitoba, Indiana, Idaho, Utah. I've somehow ended up with two cats: Dief and Lia and those names are short for Diefenbaker and Centimillia. I read almost nothing but fiction with occasional forays into academic histories about colonial America and non-fiction materials about Alaska. My music and movie tastes are fairly eclectic.

About my libraryApologies to any of you who have found your way here and are wanting to view my bibliography regarding fictional archives & archivists. I'm thinking about writing a book on the topic and until that gets solidified one way or another, I'm not making this list public. If you're interested in the topic, you may want to check the bibliography from my American Archivist article that has many of the titles that appear in this list. If you have any book suggestions for me, please feel free to forward them on!

I'm doing a paper on archives & archivists & fiction again at SAA-Austin (in with wonderful co-presenters doing archivists & blogging & archival haiku) so if you're interested in this, be sure to look for us on the schedule. Archives After Hours is the session title & my piece of it is NC-17, so be forewarned.
Love the picture of the eagles.
