About my libraryI am what one would call a book addict. It is impossible for me to enter a Barnes and Noble or Borders without buying something that strikes my fancy, hence my three books cases and fireplace mantle commandeered to be an additional bookshelf. Yes, I have even sacrificed precious closet space for the overflow of books. But, I find after lovingly placing my new books in height order on their shelves that my local library has a hold request ready for me to pick up, or I discover a new author online, causing me to postpone reading selections from my own library. It's a vicious cycle. My library list covers a range of my interests, and no, I am not ashamed to admit that there is a conspicuous amount of Romance novels on the list. I enjoy all kinds of stories, but I love a happy ending! Most of all, I enjoy fully engrossing and investing myself in another time, place, or life and escaping for a few hours into the most amazing locations or plots that manifest themselves from a little ink and paper.
